We are always looking forward here at Mark Swatts Morse and part of this vision includes potential new members of the firm. With an ever expanding business comes the continuous need to recruit the best potential members of staff who are focused and enthusiastic in their approach to the job.
We are also delighted to announce that as recognition in offering the best possible opportunities for our employees we are a finalist in this years Northern Law Awards 2017 in the Employer of the Year category.
If you are reading this because you want a career in law then we have a couple of ways in which you can get involved with us, first by attending a placement week and second by becoming an actual member of one of our growing departments.
If you are looking for an insight into the life of property lawyer but are not sure whether property law is something for you, then why not apply for a placement with us, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain! We would encourage anyone who is interested in gaining some experience in a busy property law firm to apply for a week’s placement so you can then decide whether you want to go on to practice property law. During this time you will get the opportunity to work alongside trainees and solicitors to get an idea of both the work involved and what life at Mark Swatts Morse is really like.
We are always looking to the future so if you already know that property law is for you, then why not submit your CV? We are always looking for good quality prospective lawyers who are eager to develop and further their careers. Investing in trainees means that we also want to hold on to those who have impressed during their time with us, keeping the best people means we can then continue to improve the service we offer to our clients.
Being a law firm does mean that we are mainly lawyers, however we also need the support of other integral members of staff to ensure we can continue to provide the best service to our clients and guarantee the smooth running of the business. Other roles within the firm are equally important to the development of Mark Swatts Morse so if you would like to be part of an exciting business then why not submit your CV?
It’s not all about work, we have an active social calendar as well. We like to think that working at Mark Swatts Morse is more than just a job, it’s a place where friendships are forged. We know that you need to enjoy what you are doing and we strive to ensure that we have a pleasant working environment on a day to day basis. We often have social events, sometimes just as a firm to give everyone a chance to relax and get to know each other in an informal atmosphere, and other times when holding functions for clients and other connections of the firm. Either way, it’s normally a good night enjoyed by all who attend.
